I am recently engaged and on the perfect cake prowl...looking forward to tasting Alleycakes wedding cakes with my fiance in the near future.
Came here on the way home from airport a few weeks back. Despite arriving at 6:57pm (3 minutes before they close) they women were very friendly and helpful when selecting cupcakes. It was my first time here....only reason I made the trip was because my coworker has told me wonderful things about Alleycakes.
Will be back to Alleycakes!
First of all YUM!! I have had many wonderful treats from this bakery from a client who brings my office these delicious and tasty treats monthly. My entire staff loves each and everything that comes from Alley cakes. Please keep up the yummy stuff.WE LOVE THEM!! Favorite is oatmeal cream pies
We tried the chocolate cupcake, red velvet, and Champagne, They were all great - the only advice would be the amount of frosting/type. Red velvet typically has cream cheese and the frosting on it was overpoweringly sweet for the type of cupcake. We were hoping for coconut, but they did not have any.
Love this place. My wife and I have gotten a cake from here for every special occasion and they have never disappointed us. Our kids birthdays, smash cake for baby girl, our wedding, baby showers. Beautiful to look at and delicious as well. Also just picked up some unicorn cupcakes which earned me some serious husband points.
Met one of Alley Cakes’ employees tonight, Marissa, she was hilarious! So fun! So positive! And super knowledgeable about the bakery and the baked goods. Give her a raise!!!!
Went to Alley Cakes tonight hoping to get a cupcake after dinner. I was reading the menu on the glass when one of the employees came out of the back. I was sure she was going to open the door and see if we had any questions or if we needed anything. She got to the door, flipped the lock, and without looking at me walked back to the kitchen. I know it was a few minutes past closing time, but small businesses should understand how to treat customers. This was an opportunity to make a friend and develop a loyal customer with a few seconds of your time. But swing and a miss.
